New Village Shop in Balmaha!!!

The Oak Tree Inn is proud to announce the opening of the new Village Shop right next door. Just before Christmas 2009 we purchased Violet Cottage and we have completely re-furbished the original gift shop creating more than 800sq’ of floor space.

The shop sells all the traditional items you would expect to find in a local store from groceries to newspapers and gifts. We provide tea, coffee and freshly made sandwiches to carry out. Due to the popularity of our home smoked fish dishes in the Oak Tree Inn we have designed our own packaging to allow them to be sold through the shop – will be available soon!

We have also installed a cash machine which is the only one on the West Highland Way between Drymen and Crianlarich.
