You can be assured that a warm welcome awaits you in the Oak Tree Inn with its huge roaring log fire in the bar with its extensive range of malt whiskies and locally brewed real Scottish ales.

Constructed from a 300 year old elm tree, the bar area is an ideal spot for you to enjoy a quiet drink or indulge yourself in the stimulating atmosphere of both local and fellow travellers’ company.

We stock real ale from Fyne Ales at Cairndow, Argyll Their own selection includes Avalanche, Highlander, Maverick, Piper’s Gold and Vital Spark, we normally have two available. We also  stock real ales from Traditional Scottish Ales where traditional beer brewing is on a similar level to fine wine making, where quality not quantity is what matters. Once you have tasted a beer you enjoy, it will stay with you forever.

Soup

We have up to 35 malt whiskies available, most of which are very popular. The locally distilled 10 year old malt is Glengoyne which has won many prestigious awards.

Combining the best of traditional Scottish cooking and unique delicacies such as Arctic Charr, we are confident our menu has something for everyone. Daily Seasonal Specials are a popular feature of our menu. Snacks, bar meals and tea & coffee are also served.
